Under the theme “Turning Death into Daily Conversation”, Live Well Die Well Annual Conference 2026 will bring together local and international experts from diverse fields, including former Hong Kong Observatory Director Mr Chiu Ying Lam, international palliative care expert Professor Richard Harding, to share their perspectives on life and death. Discussions will cover end-of-life care, loneliness and grief, technology and human connection, personal autonomy and advance care planning. An immersive Advance Medical Directive (AMD) VR workshop will also invite participants to reflect on end-of-life decisions and the importance of starting conversations about life and death earlier.

Funded by HKEX Foundation, the Conference is co-organised by Alongside, the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the School of Nursing of The University of Hong Kong.
