The Harbour By Alongside: Harbouring Life, Loss, and Everything in Between
We are not just filling a service gap; we are fostering a cultural shift - empowering individual and societal resilience.
Welcome to The Harbour By Alongside. We have all experienced losses, felt the gravity of grief and eventually will face death. However, we are not used to expressing our feelings, discussing death in a daily conversation. Even discussing death becomes less of an absolute taboo in the local society, we realise there is still a long distance between mental acceptance and taking actual steps.
We curated The Harbour to anchor these hesitations, ensuring every unspoken wish finds a safe landing, a safe space to harbour the unspoken feelings, emotions and stories. Rather than a topic to avoid, we believe exploring death is a profound way to reflect on life.
Through a series of interactive, community-driven projects, we invite you to embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and open conversation.
This is a 12-month Pilot Programme with The D. H. Chen Foundation as the Growth Partner and Funder, to foster cultural shift and empower individual and societal resilience.
