Walking Through Grief with Music
Alongside’s 2nd Anniversary Mini-Concert
This year marks the second anniversary of Alongside.
Over the past two years, we have walked with countless lives through moments of loss and separation. For this special occasion, we invite you to join us as we step into grief through music to reflect on memories and healing through melody.
In life, we have all experienced the loss of someone or something meaningful, a loved one, a family member, a pet, or even a friendship or a dream. This concert brings together musicians from diverse backgrounds, each sharing their own journey of sorrow and transformation. Through their music, they accompany us across the valleys of grief and toward healing and hope.

PREAL

Ryan Cheung
A Hong Kong singer-songwriter, guitarist, and medical doctor. Influenced by artists like John Mayer and Bruno Major, Ryan creates songs rich in vulnerability and warmth. His music has garnered over 700,000 streams globally, and he is currently preparing for his debut full-length album set to release in late 2025.
Dr. Eric Kong

Jason Chow
A classically trained pianist holding the LRSM diploma from ABRSM and a music performance major at Hong Kong Baptist University. Jason is known for his poetic, nuanced playing style that deeply explores the emotional and structural layers of classical works.
Echogram A Cappella
